The Swachhata pledge is a commitment to making the world cleaner, starting with oneself and spreading to one's family, community, and workplace. The pledge includes:
Initiating the quest for cleanliness: Starting with oneself and spreading the message to others.
Encouraging others to take the pledge: Encouraging others to join in the effort and devote 100 hours to cleanliness.
Propagating the message: Spreading the message of the Swachh Bharat Mission in villages and towns.
Making cleanliness a habit: Making cleanliness a habit to ensure a better, cleaner, and healthier tomorrow.
Various activities and acts were organised to assure cleaniness, sanitation and hygiene at school campus with active involvement of students, teachers and community members during 1st to 15th September 2023. The cleaniness committee members took initiative.
* Slogan writing competition and quiz on the theme "Sanitation Around" were conducted.
* Cleaning and disinfection of school water tank was carried out on 12.09.2023 with the objective to keep the water safe for drinking and free from water-borne diseases like cholera, typhoid fever etc. The school management takes every possible action to assure the best provisions to the students for their good health and bright future.
* Teachers motivated the students to avoid using plastic and keep the surroundings clean and tidy.
* Students carried different activities based on the 4R's rule: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Recover.
* Students played the role of cleanliness & hygiene advisor spreading awareness of Swachhata Pakhwara.
The school principal Ms Ritu Ghai appreciated the efforts of students, staff and community members and encouraged them to to keep the same spirit of health and hygiene everyday.
